A House Appropriations subcommittee held a hearing on the budget funding NASA’s push for a 21st Century manned landing on the moon. Testifying before the panel was NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine as well as the agency’s acting associate administrator for human exploration of space. They talked about the potential costs of a manned mission to the moon, which would be the first since the 1970s, and about how the planned mission was critical to NASA’s leadership role in space exploration.
